Two hundred Easter eggs were delivered to children in Bridgend county borough after donations from Poundland, Bridgend College and Bridge FM radio station.

Family support workers and staff from the Youth Justice Team helped to deliver the eggs to vulnerable children on Good Friday with a number also being given to the children of keyworkers who attend the emergency childcare hubs.

The Leader, Cllr Huw David said: “We know the Easter eggs were very well received and thanks to all those who donated them and delivered them.

“Without the generosity and contribution of everyone involved this initiative would not have been possible.”
