Last chance to buy at popular Tutshill housing development
Just three homes are remaining for sale at a new housing development in Tutshill, which is proving popular with city dwellers looking for an escape to the country.
Bellway is building a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes at Manor Chase, off Gloucester Road, with construction work set to finish in April.
When completed, the development will comprise a total of 91 homes, including 55 for private sale and 36 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
The last homes available to purchase at Manor Chase include the four-bedroom Wenvoe and Wycliffe house types, priced from £449,995 and £482,995, respectively. There is also the five-bedroom Fowey house type, priced from £569,995.
Daniel Shone, Sales Manager at Bellway Wales, said: “Ever since we started building at Manor Chase, there has been lots of interest not only from local buyers but also from people living in city locations slightly further afield.
“The idyllic countryside setting has proven particularly popular with Bristol commuters seeking a quieter rural lifestyle within easy reach of the city, which is just a 30-minute drive away.
“We have seen that trend increase since the first lockdown last year, as more homeowners began to place greater importance on access to open space. Manor Chase is close to popular walking hotspots such as the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean, so it’s easy to see why the development has attracted those looking for an escape from city life.
“Manor Chase is also an extremely family-friendly development – it features a children’s play area, open space and a community orchard, and there are a number of well-regarded schools in the local area.
“With lockdown restrictions tightening once again, home working is set to continue for many people for some time to come. The last remaining house types for sale at Manor Chase are ideal for those looking to balance work and family life, as they feature either a dedicated ground-floor study or four spacious bedrooms, one of which could easily be converted into a home office.”
