Christie Finance supports experienced retailers in Swansea convenience store acquisition
Commercial finance specialist, Christie Finance has supported established retail operators, Mrs Farzana Jahangir Ahmad and Mrs Rashida Sabir, to purchase Longford Stores in Neath Abbey, near Swansea.
Longford Stores sits in a residential area and provides a popular and important service to the local community. Consistently selling a large range of goods, the business benefits from regular offers and from being part of the Premier franchise.
Mrs Ahmad and Mrs Sabir are highly knowledgeable store owners supported by a wide family network. Mrs Ahmad has assisted in the running of a family convenience store in Newport and has recently been running West End Stores in nearby Gorseinon with her husband, Jahangir.
Mrs Sabir comes from a family of retailers, both in India and the UK. Growing up in the sector, she understands all aspects of running a convenience store and her recent experience as a temporary manager at Glanamman Superstore, near Ammanford, has provided her with further confidence to acquire her own store.
