Wrestling Powerbombs Pencoed

Wrestling is coming to Pencoed, for the first time in a long time. Three friends from Port Talbot have created what has been called ‘The Next Mutation’ of Professional Wrestling. Dan, Kai and Dafydd all from Port Talbot all had the idea of becoming their own boss and creating the Wrestling Promotion ‘ Pro Wrestling Karnage’. Dan with over 18 years involved in the wrestling business decided it was time to break out and create something of his own. After talking to Kai and Dafydd both themselves involved in wrestling in different capacities both jumped at the chance of being involved. With some big ideas and many meetings Pro Wrestling Karnage was born.

The boys only problem was the one problem that has been everyones problem since March 2020, Covid. The boys were hoping to be able to promote their first event in March 2021, but with Covid still being a big deal and lockdowns being something that were happening, that event was put on the backburner. So instead of it letting it get them down they decided to make their debut show even bigger.

Talking with Dan about covid and his plans this is what he had to say ”Covid was a major problem for us not knowing when the lockdowns and restrictions were going to end, but looking back it’s helped us. We have been able to make Karnage much bigger than we thought possible.”

With all the restrictions looking like they are about to end, the boys went for it and booked the Pencoed Welfare Hall for their debut event dubbed The First Mutation. Saturday 28th August 2021 Pro Wrestling Karnage will be going to taking over Pencoed and have some of the best International and UK wrestlers on the line up such as The Mexican Star Necrofargo, James Ellis, Stevie Jones, Danny Owens, Brewski Blanch, Endless lee and the first ever WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Joel Redman.

Already the boys are promoting their 2nd event in the same venue on Saturday 30th October 2021 dubbed Karnage From The Krypt.
