As part of the 100th year anniversary of the Poppy Appeal, Moneypenny has joined many other large buildings in Wrexham and North Wales turning their HQ red until Remembrance Sunday.

Joanna Swash, Group CEO at Moneypenny comments:

“As the nation prepares for the minute silence at 11 am on 11 November, so too will all employees at Moneypenny, including all our PAs. Over recent years we have noticed a large dip in calls during the silence and we feel it is important for us to respect this moment in the year and remember all those who have sacrificed for us to be able to live in the world we do today. Empathy is a key value of our culture and we can think of no better way to demonstrate this than by coming together with the rest of the local businesses in this way.”

Kevin Forbes, Poppy Appeal Organiser, Wrexham Town comments:

“2021 is the centenary of the RBL and the Poppy Appeal. Lighting up buildings red for the Remembrance period is an ultimate mark of respect for those killed and injured in the cause of freedom. Moneypenny has joined others including WCBC at the Guildhall and the major churches illuminating their buildings for #turnwalesred and #lightupred.

“The installation at Moneypenny looks great on photographs, the real thing is stunning.”
