Start-up Welsh van finance company Fund my Van has taken the market by storm since it’s Spring launch, writing more than £100,000 of business in it’s first month.

The company has been so successful they have already been approached by other lenders keen to work with them.

The brainchild of Oliver Lewis, Group Marketing Manager for Premier Commercial Vehicles in Swansea, the company has taken vehicle finance back to basics with a very simple 8 page website and a 60 second finance application form as well as a finance calculator to ensure total compliance.  This means that businesses can access the van finance they need easily and quickly with the minimum of fuss.

Lewis, who sourced the domain and built the website from scratch explains:

“Fund my Van has had a phenomenal start and it goes without saying it has exceeded our initial expectations.

“Our next step is to reinvest in the website and offer our customers a better experience by including real-life finance examples and help and advice on overcoming adverse credit. I think the next few months will allow us to grow substantially as a business”.

Fund My Van offers drivers a place to input their details in under a minute which gets sent straight to their finance specialists that are based in Swansea. From there, this in-house team analyze the application and take the best suited steps forward for that individual or business.

Due to the relationship between Premier Commercial Vehicles and Fund My Van, the teams can to speak with one another to not only finance a van but also find a suitable vehicle thanks to their long-standing relationships with UK main dealers.

Lewis says as well as ‘prime’ lending, the company are also able to assist start-ups and clients rejected by mainstream lenders.  He explains:

“Obviously, we cannot fund absolutely everyone, but we will do our best.  If, for example, you are a newly-incorporated company or one that has recently been rejected finance by a main dealer, visit Fund My Van, chances are we will be able to help.”
