Two new directors recruited to develop UKParkfinder.com
Two new directors have joined UKParkfinder.com with a mission to develop the UK’s leading online caravan industry directory.
Shropshire-based company founders Scott Higgins and Paul Callingham have welcomed Debbie Ball and Darren Pritchard to invest in and add their digital skills and marketing expertise to the successful directory, which was launched in 2019.
Debbie, who leads on marketing and administration, is a director of Complete Holiday Park Solutions with 23 years’ experience of managing caravan holiday parks while IT and software development specialist Darren is technical director of E2E Integration Ltd in Cheshire.
Their mission is to develop and enhance the range of services provided and the performance of UKParkfinder.com to make it the leading online digital platform promoting the UK leisure industry.
An easy to use, one-stop-shop for anyone seeking information about caravan and glamping parks across the UK, the online directory helps customers unlock their lifestyle and leisure time dreams by making it easier for them to find and purchase products and services.
The UKParkfinder directors are looking forward to meeting new and existing customers on stand HP1134 at the Holiday Park & Innovation Show at the NEC in Birmingham on November 2 and 3.
Due to the economic challenges facing the UK, they believe competition amongst caravan and glamping parks to find customers will increase dramatically this year and for the foreseeable future.
“Caravan holiday parks have enjoyed a staycation boom as a result of the pandemic,” said Scott. “However, because of supply chain issues, manufacturers have increased prices for caravan holiday homes which are in short supply and we are now all faced with a rising cost of living.
“Digital marketing will be more important than ever to find customers in the right target market for parks and that’s where UKParkfinder can help.
“Debbie will use her digital marketing skills to improve performance and drive more traffic to our site which is what parks want to see. Some of our customers don’t have their own website; they rely totally on UKParkfinder.”
Debbie added: “We can help improve the presence of parks instantly without them having to spend a huge amount of money, whilst also providing digital marketing security, which is very important.
“We can also help parks to develop their own in-house and social media marketing and new websites. With the industry heading for challenging times, it’s important that parks are ahead of the curve to be competitive.”
UKParkfinder.com was developed by experienced caravan industry professionals Scott and Paul to fill a gap in the market. Business packages start from as little as £165 a year.
The directors are encouraging caravan dealers, accessory shops, repair and servicing specialists, caravan storage facilities, caravan shows, local attractions and places to eat to join the directory.
UKParkfinder.com is the only online caravan directory that advertises local attractions, days out and places to eat alongside caravan businesses, which are exposed to holidaymakers looking to make the most of their leisure time.
Businesses have their own dedicated listing which they can manage themselves, upload images, videos and sale stock, promote special offers and discounts, provide full descriptions and contact information, receive customer enquiries by email and highlight special events.
There are 4,500 holiday home parks, 20,000 touring caravan and motorhome parks and 40,000 camping and glamping sites across the UK.
