Applications open for Halo Sport Foundation Support – Ath;etes encouraged to apply

Applications for the Halo Sport Foundation are now open and aspiring athletes can apply for extra valuable support.

The foundation aims to assist local talented athletes by offering either financial or training support, which will help individuals achieve their full potential.

There is a huge financial cost to training and competing at a local regional level – 80% of athletes struggle to meet financial costs without support.

The foundation is primarily targeted at people who participate in sports that feature in either the Olympic or Paralympic Games. However, applications from other sports that are recognised by Sport Wales will also be considered.
