Robert Price builders’ merchants recently donated materials to the Llanharan Drop-in Centre for their ‘All to Play For’ Event.

The center provides a wide range of childcare provisions across the local community, at affordable rates and through partnerships, aiming to deliver high quality childcare, education and play opportunities, which is especially helpful during the cost of living crisis that many are currently facing.

The goal of the ‘All to Play For’ event in 2022, was to create a play day for the whole community by providing free play opportunities for everyone during the summer holidays.

The team at Robert Price were proud to lend a helping hand by donating seven tonnes of play sand, along with other timber and fixings that helped build a sand pit and play zone for children and families to enjoy.

“We were delighted to support this fantastic community group with the play sand to make their vision a reality.” Said Molly Pike, Marketing Director at Robert Price.

“What a brilliant idea. We can’t wait to see what the team comes up with this year. Llanharan clearly has a thriving community and it’s great to see so many happy faces getting stuck in!”
