New research conducted by JET – one of the UK’s leading fuel brands – can reveal that: a good looking/well-presented site (64%), competitive pricing (55%) and clean toilet facilities (45%) are the top three influencing factors for women drivers from Wales when choosing a service station.

The research, conducted online among women drivers 18+ and nationally representative in February 2023, can also reveal that a safe environment (41%), all pumps/fuels available (33%) and pay at the pump facilities (29%) are also important factors for women drivers.

The top 10 factors as identified by women drivers from Wales also included: friendly/efficient service (27%), a known or trusted brand (26%), well-stocked retail facilities (24%) and clear signage (23%).

There are 300 JET branded service stations nationally – all sporting the eye-catching iconic blue and yellow branding.
