Barratt Homes awarded 5 stars by its customers — for a record 14 years in a row

Barratt Homes South Wales has received the maximum 5-star rating in the Home Builders Federation’s (HBF) annual New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey.

This is the fourteenth year in a row that Barratt has achieved the top 5-star rating — with no other housebuilder coming close to matching the record.

The number of stars a housebuilder receives is based on customer responses to the question “would you recommend your housebuilder to a friend?” A 5-star award means that over 90% of Barratt’s customers would indeed recommend their homes to a friend.

The HBF New Homes Survey is one of the largest surveys of its type in the country — with around 50,000 people who have recently bought a new home taking part. The simple 1 to 5-star rating system was developed to give customers an easy-to-view ranking of which housebuilders have the most satisfied customers.
