Bellway has range of homes that qualify for Help to Buy scheme in Wales

House-buyers with Bellway can choose from a range of two and three-bedroom new homes which qualify for the extended Help to Buy scheme in Wales.

The developer currently has a number of properties across different developments in Wales which are for sale below the Help to Buy Wales price cap – now £300,000.

The Welsh Government-backed scheme, which has been extended until 2025, allows people to buy a new-build home with just a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The other 20 per cent of the purchase price is provided as a loan that is interest free for the first five years.

Bellway Wales has five three-bedroom Tailor house types and two three-bedroom Southcott houses eligible for Help to Buy Wales at its Heron’s Mead development, on the former Llanwern steelworks site on the edge of Newport.

Also available with the scheme are a two-bedroom Potter house type at Coed Derw in Llantwit Fardre and a three-bedroom Shipton at Parc Mawr in Penllergaer near Swansea.
