The Hospital Innovations team during their 22km charity walk

Talbot Green-based Hospital Innovations has taken on a 22km charity walk as part of its 15th anniversary celebrations.

The business’ sales and marketing teams walked the scenic Malvern Hills from end-to-end on 10 July, to raise funds and awareness for DKMS, an international charity dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders.

The team at Hospital Innovations, a leading supplier of human tissue and surgical equipment, took on this physically demanding challenge as part of their dedication to making a positive impact in the healthcare community. By undertaking this journey, they aim to not only raise funds for DKMS, of which over £1500 has already been raised, but also create awareness about the importance of stem cell donation and the significant difference it can make in the lives of those battling blood-related diseases.

Sarah Lister-Sims, Managing Director at Hospital Innovations, said: “Our 15th anniversary is a significant milestone for Hospital Innovations, and we wanted to celebrate it by giving back and supporting causes close to our hearts.

“DKMS is an incredible organisation that has made remarkable strides in the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. We are proud to partner with them and contribute to their lifesaving mission.”

DKMS has been at the forefront of the battle against blood cancer and blood disorders, providing vital support and resources to patients in need. By conducting extensive research, raising awareness, and facilitating stem cell donations, DKMS has saved countless lives and offered hope to those facing difficult medical challenges.

Hospital Innovations is inviting individuals, organisations and communities to extend their support by contributing to their fundraising efforts. Every contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by blood cancer and blood disorders.
