Llesiant Delta Wellbeing and CGI are joint sponsors of the National Social Care Conference 2023
Llesiant Delta Wellbeing is delighted to announce that it is joint sponsors of the National Social Care Conference along with its digital transformation partner CGI.
NSCC23 is Wales’s leading social care-focused event and returns on Wednesday October 11 and Thursday October 12 at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.
Hosted by ADSS Cymru (The Association of Directors of Social Services in Wales), with business support provided by Practice Solutions, the conference is an opportunity for the social care sector in Wales to come together to exchange views and ideas.
Technology in social care is one of the themes of NSCC23 together with early intervention and prevention, and Delta Wellbeing and CGI’s sponsorship supports the programme as an example of innovative work in this area.
Delta Wellbeing Manging Director Samantha Watkins said: “We are delighted and excited to be the joint sponsors of the NSCC23 conference along with our digital transformation partner CGI.
“Delta Wellbeing is a Local Authority Trading Company, owned by Carmarthenshire County Council, which provides assistive technology and proactive monitoring to support older and vulnerable people to live independently.
“Since the company was set up in 2018, we have expanded our services to provide a range of innovative solutions in the health and social care sector, transforming the way social care is being delivered across west Wales by implementing a new model of self-help and pro-active care.
“We are extremely passionate about what we do, delivering a single point of access for health and social care in Carmarthenshire, and supporting patients leaving acute settings as well as in the community, with our hospital-based ‘Blue Army’ and our 24/7 response service, the first of its kind to be registered with Care Inspectorate Wales.
“Early intervention and prevention and the use of digital technology as the main theme of this year’s conference, could not be more relevant.
“Our partnership with CGI will help us to provide smarter, personalised care and support, developing a whole system approach to the continuum of care, and making sure we are at the cutting-edge of what is capable both now and in the future.”
Justene Ewing, Vice President, CGI said: “We are really looking forward to be sponsoring the NSCC23 conference alongside our partner Delta Wellbeing. It will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase the scope of our forward-thinking partnership to support the transition from analogue to digital health and care services in the home and help establish Wales as the national pathfinder in truly integrated health and care at home services.
“I am personally also very excited to be able to share CGI’s vision for a people-powered, data- enabled health and care focused on whole system outcomes capable to deliver for everyone the right level of care, at the right time and from the right people.
“At CGI, we combine our global industry expertise and innovative solutions with our local knowledge of the real challenges facing health and care organisations and innate ambition to work collaboratively with our clients to find the right solutions to their problems.”
The conference will include inspiring, expert speakers from social care and beyond, as well as workshops tailored for specific areas of expertise.
There will be something for everyone, from frontline staff delivering care and support, to managers, and senior decision makers in local and national government, as well as social work and social care students.
