The area is also bustling with attractions, including Pili Palas Nature World, Coed Cyrnol Nature Reserve, and various scenic points surrounding the coastline, whilst travelling further onto the Isle of Anglesey will bring you to Beaumaris, its magnificent castle and its busy pier. Bangor is easily reachable by car, offering the chance to hike through Eithinog North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, discover Penrhyn Castle & Garden, and enjoy a day at the beach at Bangor Promenade, whilst Caernarfon Castle lies a little further into the mainland, along with Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre for a day of kayaking and water sports, before completing your getaway at Snowdonia National Park.
