Kenfig Hill and Pyle festival week
The annual Kenfig Hill and Pyle festival week is underway. Organised by Pyle Community Council with the support of local clubs, churches, groups and charities, events are taking place in the community every day until Sunday 23rd June. More details are below…
Party on the pitch at the Mules
A highlight of the annual festival is the fun packed ‘party on the pitch’ that will take place at Croft Goch playing fields this Saturday 22nd June from 12.00pm.
Featuring a free kids zone including inflatables, a classic car show, fun fair rides, over 30 urban market stalls, free face painting, dance performances, live music and bands, food and much more. Admission to the event, organised by Pyle Community Council, is free.
Party on the Pitch will be opened by local resident Owen Money MBE, BBC Radio Wales presenter, musician and comedian.
Bridgend Carers Centre open day at Bethlehem Church Life Centre
Charity Bridgend Carers Centre has a new base, Bethlehem Church Life Centre in Cefn. It will be opening its doors for anyone to pop in today, Monday 17th June 11am -1pm.
Bridgend Carers Centre support people caring for family members, partners, friends or neighbours. The team can help with information, support and social events.
Line Dancing taster session at Pyle Legion
Take part in a line dancing taster session with instructor Ann John at Pyle Legion on Tuesday 18th June at 6.00pm.
Health and Wellbeing Open Day at Talbot Community Centre
Activities including Yoga tater sessions, presentations by Prostate Cymru and ‘cooking tasty food on a budget’ demonstrations will be held at an open day of health and wellbeing activities at the Talbot Community Centre, Kenfig Hill on Tuesday 18th June from 9.15am to 3.15pm.

A Sounds Familiar concert for Llys Ton residents will be held on Tuesday 18th June at 6.00pm.
Free night at Bethel Church
Admission is free for a night of live music, quiz and games on Tuesday 18th June starting at 7.00pm.
Charity car wash at KPC

Kenfig Hill Brownies and Rainbows will be holding a talent night at the Mules on Wednesday 19th June at 6.00-8.00pm.

Ladies Ascot Day at Kenfig Hill RFC
