Get ready for an inspiring day of wellness, fun, and community spirit at the Carmarthenshire Living Well Event. This vibrant and dynamic gathering will bring together a wide range of services from the health sector, local authority and third-sector organizations, all dedicated to providing valuable information, advice, and activities designed to help people of all ages live their best lives.

The Living Well Events will enable people to engage with a range of services that will promote preventative lifestyle activities, wellbeing and understanding of the support available to stay well, self-care and remain well at home.  Information, activities, and taster sessions that promote prevention and wellbeing in the community will be on hand for all to engage with representatives from various organisations about what you can do to live well.

The activities that will be available are;

  • Over 30 stalls from a variety of organisations and teams
  • Play Activities delivered through the Family Information Service
  • Lindy Hop Taster Session
  • Relaxation sessions & Move Easy Sessions delivered by the Expert Patient Programme
  • Dementia Friends Training Session (between 1and 2pm – please contact Susan Smith SusanSmith@carmarthenshire.gov.uk to book a place)

Refreshments will be available throughout the session.

“The Living Well Event in Tumble is an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to socialise, have fun and also learn about what is available in the local area to support them to live well.

“Enabling our residents to live and age well is a well-being objective for the County Council and an ambition that requires us to work across many fields with various partners to achieve.”

The Living Well in Carmarthenshire events are linked to the Living Well in Carmarthenshire Strategy consultation and will allow the public the opportunity to share what living well means to them.
