Proposal to build four 20 MW micro-nuclear plants at Llangynwyd

‘Last Energy UK Limited’ is proposing a development, Prosiect Egni Glan Llynfi, at the site of the former coal-fired power station at the Llynfi river, Llangynwyd.

This project aims to build four 20 MW micro-nuclear energy plants to supply electricity to local industry and the local grid.

There will be a project presentation followed by questions and answers this Thursday, 12th December, from 7pm to 9pm in the main lecture theatre at the Steam Academy, Bridgend College, the Pencoed Campus, CF35 5LG.
