de Novo Solutions Launches AI-Powered Payroll Outsourcing Service for UK Education Sector

LANGSTONE, South Wales — de Novo Solutions, a multi-award-winning Welsh technology company specialising in delivering personalised, data-driven digital experiences across Finance, Procurement, HR, and Payroll functions, is excited to announce the launch of its Artificial Intelligence-driven Next Generation Shared Services business operation, set to revolutionise education administration with a specialised Payroll Outsourcing Service for Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).

Maximising the full use of Artificial Intelligence and the rich functionality of both Oracle Cloud and ServiceNow platforms, the new advanced solution enables de Novo to combine the running of key back-office services on the latest Cloud technology, allowing organisations a fast path to digital transformation through outsourcing.

The first service – Payroll Outsourcing for the UK Education Sector – will be ready for launch in Spring 2026. This is specifically designed for the needs of Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) using de Novo’s industry cloud solution – Odyssea™ – and aims to deliver significant cost savings, while improving the employee experience by digital empowerment.

MATs currently experience significant challenges in managing payroll – from dealing with a range of employee contracts, navigating evolving regulations, multiple payroll rules to complexity around teacher’s pension schemes. de Novo’s new service will remove the need for in-house payroll management, software, and infrastructure, with a design fundamentally driven by advances in Artificial Intelligence to streamline Shared Services operations.

The new Next Generation Shared Services business operation will be run from de Novo’s head office in Langstone, South Wales, with the innovative technology business forecast to recruit 20 new hires, contributing directly to the Welsh economy and the local community.
