Residents learn natural wool skills

Corwen residents recently took part in a natural process to create colourful material.
Nature for Health organised a have a go at dyeing wool naturally event for Clawdd Poncen residents.
Attendees were guided by Cat Hibbert of Calon Wlân Wyllt /Wild Heart Wool who brought wool from her own flock of Jacob sheep and dyeing materials included madder root, nettles and bramble.
The residents learnt about the whole process from responsibly foraging natural dyeing materials to different uses of their newly dyed wool.
