FleetEV supports Noah’s Ark Superhero 5K Fun Day

Cardiff business FleetEV returned as Gold Sponsor for the 2025 Noah’s Ark Charity Superhero 5K Fun Day, which took place on Sunday 22 June at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
The annual Superhero 5K Fun Day is a celebration of strength, hope and community spirit, raising vital funds for Noah’s Ark Charity, FleetEV’s long-standing charity partner.
The event brings together families, supporters and volunteers to walk, wheel or jog five kilometres in honour of the 90,000 children and young people from across Wales who receive specialist and often life-saving treatment at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales each year.
This marks the second year that FleetEV has supported the event, with their 2024 sponsorship including a contribution to the event’s match funding pot, launched in May 2024. This was a key driver behind a 33% increase in fundraising per head, as every donation had double the impact during the match funding campaign.
Last year’s Superhero 5K Fun Day saw over 1000 people in attendance, with £78,000 raised for the charity. This year’s event delivered even more excitement, with entertainment, music, street food, kids’ activities, character meet-and-greets, and the flagship 5K superhero-themed walk/run, all set in the scenic surroundings of Glamorgan Cricket Ground in Sophia Gardens and nearby parkland.
Lucy Jones, Head of Fundraising and Development at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We’re so pleased to welcome back long-standing supporters FleetEV as Gold Sponsor for this year’s Superhero 5K Fun Day. It was a brilliant event and we were so pleased to welcome everyone back to Sophia Gardens for a fun filled day, celebrating our real-life superheroes and raising much-needed funds to help create brighter todays and better tomorrows for the children of Wales.”
Jarrad Morris, CEO and Founder of FleetEV, said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting our charity partners, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity, again for this brilliant event. The cause is incredibly close to not only my heart but also many of our team’s, so we’re always happy to support them in any way we can.”
This is only the first charity event that FleetEV are sponsoring this year, as they are also supporting Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity’s Santa’s Grotto during the festive season, and the charity is the chosen charity of the FleetEV National League (in partnership with Wales Netball), meaning they receive a percentage of all league event ticket sales through the season this summer.
