Premier Automotive Solutions ahead of Target to Deliver £1k Hospice Fundraising across 12 months

Premier Automotive Solutions, a commercial vehicle supplier in Swansea have pledged to donate £1k over 12 months via the Platinum Pledge campaign from City Hospice in Cardiff – and have this week announced they are ahead of target.

The Hospice provides medical, nursing and end of life care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, and support to their families.

The team of carers and nurses help patients in and around Cardiff with symptom control, offer financial advice, occupational therapy, advice from social workers and have a Day Centre where they put on a host of activities.

As part of the Platinum Pledge campaign, Premier Automotive Solutions were were set a target of raising £1,000 during a twelve-month period to support this vital campaign and worked out a payment plan that would see them donate a set amount from every vehicle order they take straight to City Hospice.

Due to the company’s rapid growth, Premier have only been involved with the scheme for the past three months and have already raised £625 – meaning they are likely to achieve their target ahead of schedule.

The Premier team recently met with Corporate Partnership Manager, Nicky Piper MBE who is delighted with the donations so far.  Nicky said:

“The support that Premier provides helps us care for patients and provide vital services. We simply wouldn’t be able to survive if it wasn’t for the donations of our Platinum Pledgers. Thank you again to Martin and his team at Premier for their support for our charity.”

Company Director, Martin Blizzard said:

“It gives me huge satisfaction knowing that our donations are going to such a fantastic cause. All our team are aware of where the money they raise goes and it motivates everyone in our office. Thank you to the nurses, administrators, trustees and of course Nicky for the wonderful work that they do every day”.

Premier are continuing with their pledge and plan to visit the Hospice again in the New Year with their next donation.
