Aber Falls Distillery Partners with Johns’ Male Chorus for Special Event

The North Wales based whisky distillery, Aber Falls, has partnered with Johns’ Boys Male Chorus for a special one-day event.

The event, scheduled for Sunday 16th February 2025, will be held at Aber Falls Distillery – the first whisky distillery in North Wales since the early 1900s – and anticipates a unique short performance by Johns’ Boys at 10:30am. This will then be followed by the boys taking part in distillery tours and a Gin Lab experience.

During their Gin Lab Experience, the boys will prepare six bottles of their very own bespoke gins, each with its own individual recipe. These Johns’ Boys gins will then be raffled to raise funds for the chorus’ tours of the UK and Canada. Additionally, across the day attendees can be a part of a raffle for a limited-edition bottle of Aber Falls’ Single Malt Welsh Whisky matured in a Manzanilla cask, with proceeds going towards the Welsh Air Ambulance.

The Johns’ Boys Male Chorus delivers a modern take on the traditional Welsh male voice choir and has gained popularity through appearances on Britain’s Got Talent 2023, as well as on BBC, ITV, S4C and Netflix.

Aber Falls’ Single Malt Welsh Whiskies are distilled, matured, and bottled in North Wales between the foothills of the Carneddau mountains in Eryri and the Menai straits. They are crafted using 100% Welsh malted barley and rock-filtered water taken from the Aber Falls Waterfall and are crafted by a team of local people.
