Aber Falls Launches New Cocktail Recipes for Summer
Now summer has arrived, what better way to enjoy the sunshine than with a refreshing cocktail in hand? And it always tastes better knowing the ingredients are sourced from local businesses who give back to the community.
To inspire your next summer sip, Aber Falls Distillery, a Welsh distillery dedicated to unique whisky and flavoured gin, has created two fizzy recipes with the help of Glass of Bubbly.

1. Drunken Candy Cocktail
Aber Falls Distillery describes this cocktail experience ‘like walking into a candy store.’ This cocktail contains no actual candy but uses Aber Falls’ Rhubarb & Ginger Gin to achieve a treat which is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
Ingredients and recipe:
- 15mls of Aber Falls Rhubarb & Ginger Gin
- 75mls of prosecco
- 5mls of ginger syrup
- A small dash of ground ginger
- A healthy sprinkling of dried cornflower petals
2. Falling For You Cocktail
Taking inspiration from the Abergwyngregyn waterfall where Aber Falls Distillery is located, this cocktail is refreshingly delicate with floral tasting notes.
For those with a more reserved palate, Aber Falls’ Welsh Dry Gin elevates this cocktail, with hints of coriander, juniper, orange, and lemon citrus.
Ingredients and recipe:
- 15mls of Aber Falls Welsh Dry Gin
- 100mls of prosecco
- 5-10mls of elderflower syrup
- A sprinkle of coriander
- Delicately place in two pressed viola flowers as a garnish
