Alastair Campbell, Marketcheck UK, commented:
“Another record-breaking month for used Tesla sales. Tesla’s dominance in the used EV market continues to accelerate. With nearly 3,000 units sold in March alone, this marks a new record and a clear signal that second-hand demand for premium electric vehicles is still present in the UK. The doubling of sales year-on-year shows growing consumer confidence in EV technology and infrastructure. There is no doubt that the current pricing of used Teslas is driving low days on market and quick sales.
As more early adopters take advantage of the cheaper prices, the used Tesla is becoming a gateway for mainstream drivers entering the electric market.
Media coverage around the brand seems to have left UK used demand unaffected, I expect April will bring more record sales.”
