Apples & spice, and all things nice enjoying the fruits of your labour
Pls see below a picture of Sophie Hughes-Saunier at Moneypenny as she and her colleagues helped to pick and harvest the hundreds of apples on the company’s eco-friendly grounds. The apples were then delivered to the on-site restaurant where they have been used in a range of seasonal dishes including some delicious apple Halloween-themed cakes for everyone to enjoy.
Charlotte Ashdown, People Director at Moneypenny commented: “At Moneypenny we are very lucky to have a number of fruit trees in our lovely grounds and our people relished the opportunity to get stuck in and help pick the apples and share favourite recipes with each other. It was great too to be able to see the produce being used and we all enjoyed eating the delicious apple buns made by our excellent catering team.
Our local environment is really important to us at Moneypenny, and this year have planted 22 new trees in our stunning grounds as well as introducing new bee homes to the landscape.”
