Following on from a successful workshop late in the summer, the Denbighshire County Council Social Care team are inviting those who have an interest in a career in care along to the Autumn recruitment workshop, which will be held at County Hall in Ruthin on 19th of September.

The team have a number of vacancies to fill and are looking for candidates who are interested in working within the Domiciliary Support Services, working in the community, and supporting citizens who are based in the south of Denbighshire.

The workshop will start at 10:00am, and will provide information about Denbighshire’s successful social care teams and the application process. Interviews will also be offered to candidates on the day.

Ann Lloyd, Head of Adult Social Care & Homelessness Service said:

“Following on from our successful workshop, we are now looking for people to come and join our Domiciliary Support Services team.

These roles will be working predominantly in the south of the County.”

Councillor Elen Heaton, Lead Member for Health and Social Care said:

“Our Domiciliary Support Services provide vital care to those in their own homes, allowing people to live longer in to their old age, in their own homes.

The work they do ensures people can receive care in the comfort and familiar setting of their own home, which is vital to many older people’s well-being.

I would urge anyone who is looking to get into the care sector to come along and see what this workshop can offer.”
