Azets accelerates graduate recruitment drive – 15 graduates from across Wales have joined since July

Azets, the UK’s largest regional accountancy and business advisor to SMEs, has welcomed 15 graduates to offices across Wales in recent months, as part of an ongoing recruitment drive for entry level jobs.

Azets has built a strong reputation for investing in the next generation of talent, and its graduate and school leavers recruitment drive is a key part of its strategy to further expand its offering across Wales. The 15 graduates who have secured positions in business areas such as Audit, Tax, Corporate Finance and Accounts & Business Advisory Services, will have the chance to be an integral part of the team, through a hands-on approach in a supportive environment, led by experienced professionals.

Luis Kingdom, Associate with Azets Holywell, is the most recent graduate to join the top 10 accounting firm, commenting on their appointment, Luis said: “I am excited to join Azets at this time; as a growing company, Azets offers excellent opportunities for ongoing career development into the future. The two week induction process which is part of the scheme allowed us to all meet Azets’ CEO Chris Horne, and further embedded us into the culture of the company, which was invaluable when starting somewhere new. My team has been very welcoming, and I am looking forward to growing my career within the business.”

Melanie Langton-Davies, Partner at Azets, said: “Azets is committed to investing in people and developing talent, and our business is full of young, enthusiastic people with incredibly bright futures. We’re proud to be recruiting so many graduates across Wales and supporting their professional growth alongside the continued growth of the company. After a challenging 12 months, particularly for young people confined to their homes, we’re delighted to be offering so many opportunities as we continue with ambitious plans to grow the business and deliver a service of outstanding professional quality, that is both personalised and localised.”

As well as welcoming a new cohort of graduates, Azets has celebrated 12 months since launching the brand in the UK. In September 2020, Cogital Group rebranded Welsh firms, Broomfield & Alexander and KTS as Azets, creating a top 10 brand in UK accountancy. Together with the other Azets UK brand, Blick Rothenberg, the business generates almost £300m of revenue. Azets has offices across Wales, including Cardiff, Swansea, Monmouth and Holywell.
