Staff at a Swansea estate agency are celebrating after being recognised as one of the best in the country.
Belvoir, which began as a husband and wife team and now has three branches across Swansea, has won Gold in the British Property Lettings Award – 2020. This is the third year running that Belvoir has scooped the prestigious British Property Lettings Award – with this accolade being bestowed upon the firm for its outstanding customer care.
Belvoir, which was set up by Ben and Daisy Davies when they were both in their twenties, has a string of awards to its name, thanks, says Daisy, to the fact that “property is personal to us.”
She says: “We are delighted to win another British Property Award and we are very proud of our hard-working teams throughout our Swansea, Mumbles and Sketty branches for helping us to achieve this success. Across all of our offices, our lettings staff work tirelessly to provide an excellent service to landlords and tenants which winning this award demonstrates.”
Judges of the British Property Awards, which assess agencies across the UK against 25 key criteria, undertake a series of mystery shopping exercises, allowing them a customer-eye view of each business and its service.
Ben said: “My wife Daisy and I are both very attuned to the fact that buying or selling property, or letting or renting a home, is so much more than a transaction. Property is personal to us. We understand that these transactions are actually very personal decisions and the are a lot of complexities to deal with, not simply legal and technical, but emotional too, since lifestyle, career and family choices are involved. We understand these nuances and we are also very familiar with the geographical area. We are both Swansea people and we know Swansea and Gower like the back of our hands, so we have lots of local insights at our fingertips and so do our team members.”
Belvoir specialises in sales and lettings in the professional and corporate rental market across Swansea, Mumbles and Gower. Daisy and Ben established the firm in Castle Street, Swansea City Centre in 2010, before expanding into Mumbles in 2015 and then into Sketty last year. They have recelty expanded their Swansea office, moving from Castle Street to new premises on Trawler Road in Swansea Marina.
Ben Davies added: “Clearly the past year has been a turbulent time for businesses of all kinds. However, there has been a resurgence in sales and lettings and we are pleased to be on hand to help the communities throughout Swansea, Mumbles and Gower with their property needs.
