Fund my Van, a start up finance company specialising in securing funding for business vehicles is set to expand following a phenomenal start, with the company having successfully closed over £400,000 of business in the first 4 months.

As well as regular finance, the Swansea-based company also specialise in traditionally hard-to-fund businesses, helping those who have a newly incorporated limited company or sole trader business by offering them alternative means to owning a new or pre-registered commercial vehicle.

Founder of Fund My Van, Bridgend resident Oliver Lewis, credits the company’s success to their digital marketing strategy, saying:

“Our digital campaigns and media coverage have been instrumental in our success and our social media followers are growing daily.

“The website now has a live chat service that has improved the customer experience and increased conversion rate.”

The company’s expansion plans are on track and they are currently looking for experienced asset finance underwriters to join the team.  Lewis continues:

“It has been a rollercoaster of a few months and we have seen a lot of blood, sweat and laughter along the way.  The business is performing extremely well and the team are positive about the brand, which we plan to roll out nationally.  It’s great to be succeeding but it’s even better to know that we are helping other start-up businesses  by giving them access to funding options that enable them to drive the reliable new vans they need to service their customers.

“We have certainly hit the ground running and while we are hiring sooner than anticipated, we have big growth plans to become a major player in the UK finance market.  This is only the beginning for us, so watch this space.”
