Remote working became key during the pandemic, and it’s remained a popular choice for many workers since. But, if you’re in search of a new remote role, where in the UK should you look for accessible work?

Rovva can now reveal the locations in the UK that offer the most amount of remote working roles, after analysing thousands of job listings on Indeed

Wales topped the list, with St David’s and Cardiff offering the most remote roles in the UK.

The number one location is St David’s in Wales. 13% of listings made available in Britain’s smallest city St David’s were remote working opportunities. This was followed by Cardiff with 12% of roles offering a remote working option.

London came in third place, with 11% of roles advertised offering remote working options.

Other locations that appeal to those on the hunt for a remote working opportunity include Perth (11%), Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Aberdeen, and Birmingham (9%).

However, if you’re on the lookout for a good variety of remote working roles, maybe avoid the following locations.

Ripon in the North East has just 1% of job listings offering remote work, along with the Welsh city of Bangor and Armagh in Northern Ireland.

3% of roles were remote in the cities of Salford, Salisbury, and Wells. Whilst St Alban’s, Stoke-on-Trent, and Gloucester saw 4% of their job listings taken up by remote work.
