Lee Biggins, founder and CEO of CV-Library, comments:

“These latest findings are truly a testament to the resilience of the  job market in the Welsh capital. In response to uncertainty surrounding the outcome of Brexit, employers in Cardiff have increased their hiring efforts by pushing up salaries and job seekers have been listening. There’s no sign of this trend stopping, so if you’re looking to increase your earnings, there’s plenty of opportunity to do so – just be wary as there’s more competition!”

As well as this, the amount of candidates in Cardiff registering their CVs online with CV-Library has increased by 15.9% year-on-year, suggesting that more individuals in the city are starting to consider looking for jobs.

Biggins continues:

“If you’ve been considering looking for a new job, I’d recommend starting your search now, but be wary of increased competition. Vacancies are up across the country, so no matter where you are, there’s work to be found. Keep in mind that relocating is always a possibility – major cities like Cardiff have a lot to offer, so don’t miss out on any exciting opportunities which are on the cards!”
