National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has been named as a Top Tier firm in the latest Legal 500 guide which ranks the UK’s top lawyers and organisations.

The firm received prestigious Top Tier rankings in eight practice areas across several of its regional offices and has been ‘recommended’ in a further 49 practice areas.

The Cardiff office has been named as recommended in three specialist practice areas: Commercial Property, Banking and Finance, and Social Housing.

Additionally, Partner Vicky Kells, who leads the Commercial Property team in Cardiff and specialises in Social Housing, has been listed in the elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ list, the Legal 500’s guide to outstanding lawyers.

Vicky Kells was also named in the ‘Recommended’ list for Social Housing and Commercial Property along with Partner Fraser MacRae for Banking and Finance and Social Housing. Partners Clare Gregory and Bethan Evans are also recommended.

Vicky Kells, who is Head of the Clarke Willmott Cardiff office, said:

“We are delighted with our numerous rankings in the Legal 500 again this year both for our specialist practice areas and for individual lawyers.

“I am particularly pleased to have been named as Leading Lawyer in this prestigious industry guide, especially because rankings are partly based on client feedback.

“The recognition across the office and the firm as a whole reflects the time we invest in developing relationships with our clients, our high level of service and our straightforward approach.”

The Legal 500 series is widely acknowledged as the world’s largest legal referral guide. It is an independent guide and firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit.

Clarke Willmott LLP is a national law firm with seven offices across the country including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton and Taunton.
