Castle Dairies Welsh Butter with Halen Môn Sea Salt Crystals now available in M&S stores across Wales!
This November 2021, leading retailer Marks & Spencer will be stocking locally made Castle Dairies Welsh Butter with Halen Môn Sea Salt Crystals (200g) in 26 of its stores across Wales.
Two of Wales’ best known food brands, Castle Dairies and Halen Môn teamed up in July 2021 to launch a new Welsh butter made with 100% Welsh cream and the famous Anglesey natural sea salt crystals. This traditional salted Welsh butter roll, which contains 100% Welsh cream, is carefully churned in Wales, and blended with Halen Mon’s Anglesey Sea Salt to produce a sumptuously rich and creamy butter.
Castle Dairies was set up in Caerphilly in 1966 and has grown to be one of the largest family-owned dairy businesses in Wales, working with more than 200 Red Tractor Assured farms in Wales to source the Welsh cream for its butters.
David Cooknell, Head of Retail Sales at Castle Dairies said:
‘’We’re delighted that this product will be more widely available for our loyal customers across Wales, providing shoppers in Wales with more opportunities to enjoy high quality, locally sourced produce, produced and packed here in Wales’’
M&S Buyer for Liquid Dairy & Eggs and Events, Hannah Shephard said: ‘We at M&S are proud to support local suppliers and farmers and are extremely excited to launch the new Castle Dairies butters as part of our journey to be more regionally relevant in our product sourcing.’
Alongside the new Castle Dairies Halen Môn roll, the company is also launching their 250g Welsh salted block and unsalted block butter with the same M&S stores.
The new Welsh butter roll with Halen Môn will be available in Marks and Spencer stores throughout Wales from 12th November 2021. It is also available in Tesco stores across Wales.
