Santa and Christmas Light Switch On with Dave and Shirley at Sandville

The Christmas tree lights at Sandville, Ton Kenfig will be switched on by Dave and Shirley of hit Channel 4 programme Gogglebox, together with the Steelworks Santa, at 5pm on Tuesday 12th December.

The optional meet & greet with Steelworks Santa includes a festive chat, reindeer names, Rudolph songs, reindeer bell, photos, a Christmas list and a special wrapped gift. The cost is £10 per child.

The festive family event from 5.00 to 8.00pm will include Christmas carols, mince pies, mulled wine, refreshments and a charity raffle.

To book your child in for the Santa Experience and to make a payment you can either call 01656 743344 or visit the reception of the Sandville Self Help Foundation. This is on a first come first serve basis as spaces are limited! All the funds raised contribute to the running of the local charity that supports people with life limiting and life changing conditions.


Christmas carols and poems at Cefn Wesleyan 

Cefn Wesleyan Church will be celebrating Christmas with carols and poems this Tuesday, 12th December at 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome at the little chapel next to the Common.


Christmas bulb planting at St Theodore’s   

A Christmas bulb planting session will be held at St Theodore’s Church on High Street in Kenfig Hill this Wednesday 13th December at 12.15pm. The cost is £15, refreshments are available, call Christine on 07801 942870 for more information.


Family carol service at BCLC

Join in the Christmas carols this Sunday, 17th December 4.00-5.00pm at Bethlehem Church Life Centre on Cefn Road. The family carol service includes refreshments and children’s Christingle activity. All are welcome.


Cynffig’s community concert at St Theodore’s Church

You will receive a warm festive welcome at Cynffig Comprehensive School’s Christmas carol concert, on Tuesday, 19th December at St Theodore’s Church in Kenfig Hill, starting at 6.00pm.
