Clayton Hotel Cardiff wins top sustainability award in Europe
Clayton Hotel Cardiff, a distinguished Green Tourism member honored with the prestigious 2021 Gold Green Tourism Award, has secured another accolade as the Best Sustainable Accommodation in Wales. This notable achievement comes from the “GrINN Awards” for Sustainable Tourism in Europe, organized by Quartz Inn Hotels. The awards, now in their second edition, spotlight outstanding sustainability efforts across 100 categories, with participants hailing from 51 European countries.
The awards’ integrity was fortified by an expert jury, including distinguished figures such as Francisco Rodriguez Mora, Head Chef at The Trout at Tadpole Bridge; Katie Ellam, CEO of Book Eco Hotels; Jolanta Dziewit, Director of Sustainability at iVisitKrakow.com; Branislava Grbic, Global Sales Manager at Rosewood Hotel Group; Roeland Verhamme, CEO & Founder at Expect Me; Lidiia Tkachenko, Director & co-founder of Quartz Inn Hotels; and Ignacio Merino, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Freetour.com. This esteemed panel was led by Alexander Zawadzki, Director of Quartz Inn Hotels, who served as the awards presenter and organizer.
