Community Resource Team recognised as ‘Amazing Team’ as part of Social Work Month nominations

The Council’s Community Resource Team, based in Ruthin, have been recognised as an ‘Amazing Team’ as part of the BASW (British Association of Social Workers) ‘Amazing Social Workers’ campaign during Social Work month.

The campaign recognises individual and collective achievements in Social Work throughout the whole of the UK. All nominations are judged based on their outstanding contribution to the profession, and examples of excellent work in supporting people.

Ann Lloyd, Head of Adult Social Care and Homelessness said:

“It is great that our South Locality Team in Denbighshire have been recognised as an Amazing Team.

The team demonstrate the values of Social Care on a daily basis through their compassion, dedication and commitment to support our citizens. I am extremely proud of each and every one of them.”
