An unusual and inventive gatehouse lodge by an important Welsh Arts and Crafts architect in Conwy, North Wales, is set to go under the hammer next month with a guide price of £175,000 – £200,000.

Designed in 1927 by renowned architect Herbert Luck North, who is famed for his distinctive buildings in the Llanfairfechan area, the two-bedroom, Grade II-listed Penrhyd Gatehouse Lodge also has a large detached garage with a flat above.
