An award winning craft cider company in the Vale of Glamorgan has launched a new delivery service for customers in Bridgend, Pencoed, the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff.

Vale Cider, launched in 2015 by father and son, Nick and Joseph Craddock, make ciders on their farm in Bonvilston using apples from their orchards.  They have won a number of accolades including multiple Great Taste Awards and medals at the Welsh Perry and Cider Championships. They are a Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste Producer.

The delivery service is already proving very popular for sending cider gifts during lockdown, as well as for drinkers who are missing the boutique ciders that can often only be found in niche pubs or at farmers markets.

Nick Craddock said:

“We pride ourselves on making great Welsh cider in the heart of South Wales”.

Nick’s cider-making partner (and son), Joseph added

“During lockdown and social distancing we have found that our home delivery service is a great way for our customers to be able to continue to enjoy local craft cider when markets, festivals and events are not happening.”

Customers wanting cider can place an order by going to the Vale Cider Online Shop where they can pay by card and have the cider delivered to their door.  The company can also deliver a gift of cider direct to the door of the recipient.
