Denbighshire County Council is inviting individuals interested in a career in social care to attend a recruitment workshop at County Hall in Ruthin on March 12th. The event aims to attract compassionate and dedicated candidates eager to support communities across Denbighshire.

Opportunities in Social Care

The recruitment workshop, starting at 2pm, will provide attendees with key insights into Denbighshire’s Social Care Team, the available roles, and the application process. Those attending will also have the opportunity to take part in interviews on the day, offering a direct route into a rewarding career in care.

Ann Lloyd, Head of Adult Social Care & Homelessness Service, highlighted the need for dedicated individuals to join the team.

“We are looking for caring and enthusiastic people who want to make a difference to people’s lives to come and join our Social Care Team. These roles will be working predominantly in the south of the County.”

A Vital Role in the Community

Denbighshire’s Social Care Team plays a crucial role in providing essential support to residents, enabling them to lead healthier and more independent lives.

Councillor Elen Heaton, Lead Member for Health and Social Care, encouraged those considering a career in care to attend the event.

“Our Social Care Team provides vital care to all across our County, allowing people to lead healthier and happier lives. I would urge anyone looking to get into the care sector to come along and see what this workshop can offer.”
