Desg Expands with Prestigious Park Place Launch and New Co-Owner Miles Davies

Desg, Cardiff’s award-winning co-working and office space provider, is set to unveil its latest and most prestigious site at Park Place on April 7th. The launch marks a significant milestone for the brand as it welcomes seasoned property developer Miles Davies as a new co-owner and director.
Founded in 2020 by Cardiff-based estate agent Ross Hooper-Nash, Desg was born out of a vision to create design-led, community-driven spaces where businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs could thrive. Since opening its first location at Penhill Road, Desg has grown into a respected name in the city’s co-working scene, currently operating three successful sites and hosting over 50 businesses across its network.
The new Park Place location follows a significant refurbishment and will offer private fixed offices, hot desks, meeting spaces, and communal areas including a bar, kitchen, and wellness facilities. Parking, shower and changing amenities are also available — part of the brand’s continued commitment to offering premium, flexible work environments for modern professionals.
Speaking ahead of the opening, co-founder Ross Hooper-Nash said:
“Desg has always been about creating more than just a workspace. We’ve built places where businesses grow, networks form, and people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Park Place is the next exciting step in that journey.”
Ross’s long-time business partner, Miles Davies, is joining Desg as co-owner with plans to drive the brand’s expansion. With a career that began in banking in Hong Kong and the City of London, Davies brings a wealth of commercial and property expertise. The pair previously co-founded Ventura Properties in 2019, and their new venture into co-working marks a natural evolution of their partnership.
“Ross has built something really special with Desg,” said Davies. “With demand growing and more opportunities on the horizon, it felt like the right time to officially join the business and help take it to the next level. Park Place is just the beginning — we’ve already welcomed tenants and have more in the pipeline.”
Desg’s existing locations — including Penhill Road, Cathedral Road, and St Andrew’s Crescent — are known for their stylish design, inclusive amenities, and strong community feel. From dog-friendly offices and on-site gyms to social evenings and “Pizza Fridays,” Desg has positioned itself as a forward-thinking alternative to traditional office setups.
Ross added:
“The way people work has changed, and we’ve tried to reflect that in everything we do — from flexible memberships to wellness classes and shared social spaces. We’re building an experience, not just providing desks.”
With its sights set on becoming the go-to shared office brand in Cardiff and beyond, Desg is poised for even greater growth in the coming years.
