Eight New Appointments and a series of promotions at Greenaway Scott.
Specialist corporate law firm, Greenaway Scott, has hired eight new professionals to its expanding legal team to help it meet growing demand for its specialist advisory services in the corporate law sector.
The company has seen significant growth over the last six years with a 900% increase in revenue since launching in 2013 and has expanded from a two-person start-up, to an industry leading integrated group enterprise that now employs 40 members of staff.
Greenaway Scott forms part of the integrated GS Verde Group, which provides corporate legal, finance and intellectual property services across its group of companies.
The new appointments will take on a range of roles across the Cardiff, Bristol and Pembroke offices of Greenaway Scott.
Liz Haberfield joins the Cardiff office as an Associate Director in the corporate team. Liz is a nine year qualified solicitor with significant experience from working in house at a leading consultancy business in Wales. She has experience across a wide range of corporate and commercial services and large group transactions.
Also within the Cardiff office, Kim Matthews will join as an Associate in the commercial property team moving from an established firm, with more than seven years advisory experience in property and related security work. Ms Matthews will lead the development of the commercial property team for Greenaway Scott.
In addition to the senior hires the Cardiff office has appointed three new executives with Holly Williams, Benedetta Coccini and Siobhan Rantanen joining the corporate and commercial legal teams at Greenaway Scott and having roles advising on multimillion-pound transactional work including mergers & acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructuring.
Greenaway Scott has also confirmed the promotion of Selena Baker to Associate Director within the employment law team, with Louise Whitelock, Georgia Evans and Stacy Treharne graduating to become trainee solicitors at the firm.
There are also new solicitor appointments in both the Bristol and Pembroke Dock offices of Greenaway Scott.
Senior solicitor Shamina Chowdhury joins the commercial and intellectual property team and solicitor Farah Hussain joins the commercial property team, with both appointments working full time at the Bristol office of Greenaway Scott.
Stewart Knights will join as a solicitor in the corporate team and be based at the new Pembroke office for Greenaway Scott.

In addition to these eight new appointments, Greenaway Scott has also taken new office space in the centre of Bristol and will soon be opening a brand new office in Pembroke Dock, resulting in more staff growth in the future.
