Emily Wilson and, graduate surveyors at the Cardiff office of global property consultancy Knight Frank, have passed the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) examination.

Their qualification success means they become members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and fully-qualified Chartered Surveyors.

Emily Wilson joined Knight Frank in May 2022 from Brinsons in Caerphilly, and William Caldwell joined in September 2021, having achieved a BA at Newcastle University, and then a MSc degree in Real Estate from Reading University.

Having joined the Knight Frank Commercial Graduate Programme upon appointment, the pair have been combining studying for their RICS assessment of professional competence, with practical training working on a range of projects for Knight Frank’s various teams.

Emily Wilson said: “The APC was a challenging but rewarding experience which gave me the opportunity to work across the different departments. I was very proud when I passed the APC knowing that all the hard work had paid off although I couldn’t have done it without all the support from everyone in the office and the wider Knight Frank network.

William Caldwell commented: “I found the process very rewarding and am delighted to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor.  The Knight Frank Graduate Scheme is well structured, offering rotations across different service lines and real estate disciplines over a two year period.”

Matt Phillips, managing partner of Knight Frank in Cardiff, said: “Congratulations to Emily and William for passing their Assessment of Professional Competence.  The support offered by the Knight Frank graduate scheme is acknowledged as one of the best in the commercial property sector and they are now fully qualified chartered surveyors with a real understanding of how commercial property works and a determination to give our clients an excellent service. We look forward to supporting them in their careers moving forward.”
