Exercising dogs on local beaches in Bridgend

Residents and visitors to Bridgend County Borough’s stunning coastline are being reminded that annual restrictions which prevent dogs from being exercised on certain beaches are about to begin.

The restrictions will cover the late spring and entire summer season, and will be in place from 1 May to 30 September 2022.

During this period, dogs will not be allowed at Rest Bay, Town Beach, Coney Beach and Trecco Bay.

However, they can be exercised all year round at Newton Beach, Pink Bay and Sker Beach.

Wherever you go, please remember to always bag dog waste, and to dispose of it responsibly.
