A ‘Family Focus’ Information Sharing Event is to be held at Rhyl Town Hall on 6th of April. There are over 30 stands confirmed, who will each share important information on the on Families First & Flying Start schemes and will provide advice on topics such as Education, Housing, ALN, Employment, Health, Energy, Money Matters and more.

The event is free, and each family that attends will be given a raffle ticket to win prizes such as an Air fryer, slow cooker, Easter hampers and Denbighshire Leisure vouchers.

Each stand will provide an activity the children can partake in whilst their parent/carers are discussing information. The Easter Bunny and Alice in Wonderland will also be in attendance and will be engaging in games and activities from 10am.

TAPE will then be hosting a drop-in session to create animated videos from 12pm onwards.

Councillor Gill German, Deputy Leader and Lead Member for Education, Children and Families said:

“This event will host a number of fun activities for children over the school holidays, as well as provide useful information and advice for parents on a range of issues, including the cost of living.

It’s a brilliant initiative from our Families First team and it’s great that our partners are coming together to put this on for our families. I am really looking forward to attending.”
