Four things for families to do in Swansea this week
With the summer holidays in full swing parents across Swansea may be frantically searching for activities to keep the children entertained.
If you’re sick of soft play, and trips to the park, it might be time to rethink next week’s social calendar.
Thankfully housing association Pobl’s Penderi Green Regeneration project is working with a host of local partners to bring engaging, exciting and eco-friendly events to Swansea this summer.
Here’s just a few of the family friendly sessions which are running across Penderi next week …
Forest school
Forest School with Carys Lovering will be in session from August 3rd.
Parents and children will be shown how to create willow crafts, wands and necklaces by whittling, wool crafts, natural prints and also enjoying nature-based games.
The sessions run from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 3pm, with further classes on August 10th, 18th, 24th and September 1st.
