Free PR and marketing conference for charities to return to Wrexham
A free PR and marketing conference aimed at charities is returning to Wrexham in November.
Organised by award-winning agency Outwrite PR, the all-day event aims to empower and educate third sector organisations on how to handle brand promotion and communications in-house.
Topics will include internal communications, securing broadcast media coverage, social media, and managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG), with a panel event providing attendees with the chance to put burning questions to experts.
The PR agency will also be welcoming guest speakers to provide valuable tips and advice to help charities be more effective with PR and marketing, as well as learn the latest techniques and best practices.
Outwrite’s PR and marketing conference was first run in 2019 as part of the agency’s 25th anniversary celebrations, and following overwhelmingly positive feedback, the company now runs the event annually.
This year’s event will take place on Thursday 17 November at Wrexham Glyndŵr University and will run from 9.30am to 4pm.
Outwrite account manager Calhan Behrendt said: “We are passionate about being able to help empower organisations which are making a difference, and while our virtual conference last year got a lot of positive feedback, we were itching to get back to an in-person event.
“At a time where the important work of charities is more crucial than ever, it is vital to give them the chance to learn all about the best practices in communications in a simple manner to help them showcase the impact they make every day.
“We are keen to encourage plenty of questions too, as this event will be the perfect opportunity to receive invaluable support and guidance.”
