Specialist corporate law firm Greenaway Scott, part of the multidiscipline GS Verde Group, has added three new starters following a highly successful first quarter of 2019

Greenaway Scott has welcomed new starters within its Employment & HR team, established a new Corporate Governance division and added an in-house Recruitment & HR manager.

The Employment & HR team has welcomed Rachel Duncan, a senior solicitor with experience in employment law. Ms Duncan qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and prior to joining the team at Greenaway Scott, worked as a senior solicitor at another regional law firm.

Faris Dean has been recruited to establish the new Corporate Governance division, and joins Greenaway Scott as an Associate.

Mr Dean started his professional career as an accountant, before later qualifying as a solicitor. He holds dual legal and accountancy professional qualifications, and is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Mr Dean will spend his time across both the Cardiff and Bristol offices of Greenaway Scott.

Natalie King joins the team as in-house HR & Recruitment manager and will work across the GS Verde Group for both Greenaway Scott and its sister company Verde Corporate Finance.

Ms King has a wealth of experience in all aspects of Human Resources from resource and talent planning to improving organisational performance and change management.

The firm has seen significant growth over a number of years with 900% growth in revenue since launching in 2013 and shows no signs of slowing down.

Corporate Director, Matt Sutton, said:

“The new appointments come during a period of sustained growth for Greenaway Scott and our wider Group. They reflect the need for our business to continue to develop its advisory offering and also importantly the need for our business to strengthen its internal controls and structures”.

“We are delighted to welcome our new starters to our team”

Greenaway Scott is part of the GS Verde Group, a multidiscipline professional advisory business alongside Verde Corporate Finance. This is a unique way of working, allowing the award winning group to focus on both legal and financial aspects of any transaction.
