Site managers at Hale Construction, part of JG Hale Group, dominated the Site Manager of the Year award category at the recent Local Authority Building Control (LABC) regional awards, with three site managers from only Hale Construction being shortlisted for the award.

The LABC regional awards took place on 12 April 2019 at the Vale Resort, Hensol. Gareth Carsley, Brian James and Matthew Hall from the Neath-based company were all nominated for the Site Manager of the Year award, with Brian James being named as the winner. All three site managers were shortlisted based on their work in Neath, Swansea and Haverfordwest.

The LABC regional awards are one of the largest business to business awards within the building control sector and recognise quality in all types of building projects.

Hale Construction also scooped an award at the LABC Neath Port Talbot Building Excellence Awards 2019, winning the Best Small New Housing Development award.

Johnathan Hale, chairman of JG Hale Group – which includes Hale Construction and Hale Homes – said:

“We are extremely proud of our site managers for being shortlisted for such a prestigious award. Our teams work hard to provide quality construction and this award, with only Hale Construction site managers shortlisted, is a reflection of that.

“The professionalism shown by our site managers enables us to provide a consistently high level of service on every project we undertake. Our clean sweep of the award category truly shows the dedication of our site managers to their work.

“Congratulations to Brian, who will be attending the UK finals of the awards in London later this year. We wish him the very best of luck.”
