Harding Evans sponsor Newport & District Schools U11’s Girls Football
Leading Welsh law firm Harding Evans, headquartered in the heart of Newport, have stepped up as sponsors for the Newport & District Schools U11’s Girls Football team.
The firm, which offers a range of legal services to both businesses and individuals, is helping the club with financial support to enable the club to supply the whole team with a kit for the season. The U11’s team is a new group and were recently mascots for the Cymru men’s U21 side, when they faced Denmark at Rodney Parade.
Laurence Mora, from Chepstow Town AFC and representing the Newport Schools Girls U11’s, said: “The girls have been loving their new kit – all thanks to Harding Evans. It’s been a really busy start for them, with the kit getting its first run out on a wild and wet Rhondda night against Rhondda Cynon Taf Schools. The girls did really well in some proper sideways rain! They also had a fantastic bonding session as mascots for the Cymru U21s and got to meet Cymru manager Rob Page and former international Neil Taylor, as well as parade their smart new kit! Big thanks to Harding Evans from all of us at Newport Schools”.
Haley Evans, Marketing & Communications Manager at Harding Evans added: “Harding Evans Solicitors have been based in the heart of Newport for over 100 years and being a part of the community is really important to us. We are a firm full of football fans, so to be able to support the game, especially the women’s game, at grass roots level in Newport was a no-brainer for us. We wish the girls all the best for the season!”
